Childhood Development Organization (CDO) is a non-profit local NGO based in Morogoro Region. Currently operating in all District 9 councils throughout the region. The Organization is committed to assisting communities in improving their livelihoods. The establishment of CDO was based on the realization that there were existing disadvantages faced by less privileged children from low-income households in the communities that needed to be addressed. Since its inception, the organization has been at the forefront of promoting Early Childhood Development initiatives and access to inclusive education by actively participating at both the local and national levels through policy advocacy initiatives, as well as through membership in national networks such as Tanzania Education Network (TEN/MET) and Tanzania Early Childhood Development Network (TECDEN). grant.

Economic Empowerment
CDO complies with NSGRP (MKUKUTA) at all levels. We provide entrepreneurship education and seed capital to low-income families to run petty businesses. CDO supports elders with social services such as mattresses, bed sheets, CHF, and monthly food ration.

It is a cross-cutting component mainstreamed in all program areas.
