Childhood Development Organization (CDO), in collaboration with the Morogoro Region, specifically the Mvomero District Council, is implementing a project titled Enhancing Access to Quality HIV/AIDS, Sexual and Reproductive Health Services for Adolescent Girls and Young Women. In Swahili, the project is called Afya Yangu Maisha Yangu, which translates to “My Health, My Life.” The ViiV POSITIVE ACTION GRANTS fund the project.

The purpose of this initiative is to increase the number of adolescent girls enrolled in and completing education, and to promote their participation in decision-making processes within their communities and school management systems. This will be achieved by improving access to quality HIV/AIDS and sexual and reproductive health services for adolescent girls and young women in Mvomero District, Morogoro Region, Tanzania.
