Childhood Development Organization (CDO) in collaboration with Morogoro region in particular Mvomero District council, implement a project namely Enhancing Access to Quality HIV/AIDS, Sexual and Reproductive Health Services to Adolescent girls and Young Women translated into Swahili as Afya Yangu Maisha Yangu meaning My Health My Life Project funded by ViiV POSITIVE ACTION GRANTS. The purpose of the project is to increase the number of adolescent girls enrolled and completing education as well as girls involved in decision-making processes in the community and school management by improving access to quality HIV/AIDS, Sexual and Reproductive Health Services among Adolescent girls and Young Women in Mvomero District in Morogoro Tanzania.
1987 are Adolescents girls from 24 Secondary Schools located in 21 Wards,
34 are CHW, 20 are Local Government leaders, 48 are students’ counselors,24 head teachers and 21 Ward Education Coordinators
The Baseline Survey (Mapping Activities) aimed at identifying our beneficiaries by their names and assessing their understanding of HIV/AIDS and Reproductive Health. This survey encompasses all secondary schools and ward offices situated in Mvomero District.””
