We are excited to announce new funding from ViiV Healthcare Positive Action Programme Grant to support the implementation of the TUNAWEZA Project in Mvomero District in Tanzania.
This three-year initiative will focus on advancing community-led combination HIV prevention for adolescent boys and young men aged 10–24, empowering them with knowledge, life skills, and access to essential health services to reduce new HIV infections.
Through the TUNAWEZA Project, we aim to: • Strengthen community-driven HIV prevention efforts • Increase access to youth-friendly health information and services • Promote positive masculinity and responsible decision-making • Enhance the engagement of young people as leaders and change-makers in their communities
The project will be implemented by Childhood Development Organization (CDO) in close collaboration with Mvomero District Council & Local communities.
We are grateful to ViiV Healthcare through its Positive Action Programme grant for supporting innovative, community-led approaches that help create healthier futures for young people.
Together, we believe young people can lead the change. #Tunaweza
