Empowering Adolescents: CDO and Mvomero District Boost HIV and Reproductive Health Awareness Through School Clubs

Childhood Development Organization (CDO), in collaboration with the Mvomero District Council, continued the initiative to strengthen the Afya Yangu Maisha Yangu (My Health, My Life) clubs by visiting 29 secondary schools across Mvomero District.

Students received comprehensive education on HIV/AIDS, sexual and reproductive health, including methods of preventing HIV infections, combating stigma against people living with HIV (PLHIV), and understanding safe menstruation practices.

Through these clubs, students, especially girls, are empowered to make informed decisions about their health, achieve their educational goals, and become agents of positive change in their communities.
