On April 13, 2025, CDO, in partnership with Mvomero District Council, took part in the Uhuru Touch Rally, which began in Sangasanga, travelled to Melela, and ended in Doma Ward, Mvomero, Morogoro. CDO sought to raise sexual and reproductive health (SRH) awareness and HIV testing.
Over 1,000 community members participated, and 467 people volunteered for HIV testing. Educational programs targeted youth and disadvantaged populations, resulting in improved awareness, reduced stigma, and strengthened community engagement in HIV prevention.
