Young women groups in Doma and Mgeta wards supported by CDO have completed 52 weeks of savings and income-generating activities.

Two young women groups in Doma and Mgeta wards among the six established and supported with capital by CDO have successfully completed 52 weeks of savings and income-generating activities.

The groups shared profits accumulated through weekly savings and income from group businesses such as soap-making projects. On average, each member received approximately TZS 300,000 to invest in expanding their small businesses.

All six groups have been linked to the Mvomero District Council’s 10% loan fund. One group in Doma has already secured TZS 4,000,000, while the others are progressing through the application process
