The training was coordinated by the Morogoro Regional Commissioner’s Office in partnership with the Ministry of Community Development, Gender, Women, and Special Groups through the Department of Social Welfare.
The topics covered included:
- Fire safety and precautions
- Health education within childcare centers
- Early Childhood Care, Development, and Education (ECCD)
- Establishment and management of daycare centers
- Early identification and appropriate interventions for children
- Designing, producing, and using child learning materials
- Community participation in ECCD service delivery
Through this training, owners and caregivers were empowered to provide safe, high-quality services that align with national standards for early childhood care and development. We believe this knowledge will help strengthen the well-being of young children and contribute positively to the development of our communities.
