Strengthening Learning Environments for Quality Education, Vikenge Primary School – Mvomero District

In continued support of the Government of Tanzania’s commitment to improving the quality of basic education, Childhood Development Organization (CDO) proudly handed over 20 tables and chairs for teachers to Vikenge Primary School in Mvomero District.

This contribution is aimed at improving teachers’ working conditions, enhancing classroom management, and creating a more conducive environment for effective teaching and learning. Quality education begins with empowered teachers, and adequate furniture is a fundamental part of strengthening school infrastructure.

The event was honored by the presence of key government and community leaders, including:

  • The Mvomero District Education Officer
  • The Ward Councilor
  • The Mzumbe Ward Executive Officer
  • Members of the School Committee
  • Parents and Teachers of Vikenge Primary School

During the ceremony, the Head Teacher, on behalf of all staff, expressed sincere appreciation to CDO and our valued partner, Partenaires Association, for their generous support and collaboration in advancing education at the community level.

This initiative aligns with Tanzania’s national education priorities and contributes to the global commitment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), which calls for inclusive, equitable, and quality education for all. It demonstrates the importance of strong partnerships between government institutions, civil society organizations, and development partners in accelerating progress toward sustainable development.

Together, we are reinforcing the foundation of quality education and ensuring that schools are better equipped to nurture the next generation of leaders.
